A GREAT PRODUCT...IN A NOT SO GOOD CONTAINER!

A GREAT PRODUCT...IN A NOT SO GOOD CONTAINER!

I have never purchased a can of _________ and been able to use the whole can before the spray quits. Most of the time it is still half full and I have to toss it. I don't know if all the cans are that way or if I am just the lucky one every time.      ________ is a great product...you know when you have that dreadful, embarrassing clinging in your clothes and you can just spray them with _________, even while you are wearing them.

This time I decided to let them know about the can and they were very prompt in making up for it. I received in the mail this morning, a nice letter and also 2 coupons for 2 free cans of ________. More than makes up for the last can I bought...and they are working on a more efficient container.

Wow! That is all I was going to write...(I promise you that I didn't think about this until I was almost finished with the post  LOL)  but while typing the post, I thought that this lends itself to more than just an earthly product. What a great product God gave to this sinful world! The precious blood of His Son and His gospel, (Good News)!

Jesus preached about His church in future tense, while He was here on earth, but on the first Pentecost after His resurrection, in Acts 2,  the first gospel sermon was preached and His church started...and it was given to those apostles and first Christians to spread the gospel and today it is the responsibility of all who call themselves Christians.

Yes, He left this Treasure in 'earthen vessels' (Christians...2 Corinthians 4:7)   to distribute to the world, His saving grace. And what a sorry lot we are. But God's grace more than makes up for our weakness...and He is working on making us more efficient containers...vessels. Some are better at it than others but I think more of us would be efficient at it, if there were more who were interested in hearing it. How's your container or vessel? Do you spew the contents out all at once without thinking of the feelings of others? Or do you spray just what is needed in that particular situation and time?

II CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 4:1-9

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. ¶ We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed...
